Camp
In 2002 pro snowboard/legend, and Winter X-Games Champion, Jimmy Halopoff started Southshore Soldiers Camp.  For the past 6 years, the annual adult snowboard & ski camp at Heavenly Mtn. Resort in South Lake Tahoe has been the premier Spring Break destination for snowboarders and skiers.

Featured in Snowboarding Magazine, RSN, Fox Sports, MTV's ‘Made’ and of course Playboy Magazine, Southshore Soldiers Camp is the place to be during the spring.  If you like vacationing in a worldclass resort mountain town, learning to ride like the pros, and partying with the pros, Southshore Soldiers in Southlake Tahoe is the place for you!

Snowboarding
Want to ride powder? We got 22 feet during camp last year!  Or, advance your skills by taking laps in our private terrain park with pros like Danny Kass, Andreas Wiig, Eddie Wall and Travis Kennedy.  As you sharpen your skills coaches roll camera for nightly video analysis. From first time beginners to advanced riders, our coaching staff is committed to helping everyone have fun and improve their ridding.

Skiing
Want to party all night with X-Games Gold Medalist Tanner Hall? Do you like steeps, open bowls, bumps, jumps, rails and boxes? We got it all.  The coaching program, led by longtime pro freeskier Shane Chandlee and young gun Dustin Kimsey, is top notch.  Regardless of your ability, our coaches are dedicated to helping everyone from beginners to experts dramatically improve their skills while having tons of fun.

Camp Photography
Everyday our professional photographer is on site taking photos of both campers and pros.  Dailey photos are available to view and purchase each evening in the Camp Lounge.

Terrain Park
The terrain park is completely private, limited to only campers, coaches and pros.  Covering two trails, the park offers obstacles for riders at every level.  The Soldiers park includes everything from mini tabletops for beginners honing their skills, to x-games size booters for the advanced campers and pros.  Innovative design provides the latest in rail and box progression.  Our private terrain park is quite impressive and guaranteed to have something for everyone!

Coaching
Our professional coaching staff is top of the line. Soldiers' Head Coach Ed McClain has produced over 20 USASA National Champions, 3 Winter X-Games medalists, and '06 US Olympic Snowboard Team Member Elena Height.  Our program accommodates riders of all abilities, from first time beginners to experts.  Groups are kept small (about 4:1 camper to coach ratio) and based on ability and goals. With nightly video analysis, and a goal-oriented approach, our coaches are committed to using the best possible techniques to help each person achieve his/her own goals while at camp.

Guest Pros
Top professional snowboarders and skiers from around the world come to join the festivities.  Pro shredders session our private park in the day and join our après parties at night. Ride and hang with X-Games and Olympic Medalists like Jimmy Halopoff, Danny Kass, Shaun Palmer, Eddie Wall, Andreas Wiig, Kevin Jones, MFM, Andy Finch, Travis Rice, Nate Bozung, Jamie Lynn, Travis Kennedy,  Wyatt Caldwell, and skiers Tanner Hall, Rory Silva, Kristy Leskinen, Michelle Parker, and many others

The Lounge
After riding, campers head back to the hotel to relax and watch video of the day's progression with the coaches.  The lounge provides campers with all the après luxuries including pool tables, big screen TVs, foosball, snowboard/ski videos, couches, beanbags, refreshments and more.  The Soldiers lounge is the place to be, and the heart of the camp off-hill.  Here is where all campers and pros go to hang out and start the nightly party activities.

Entertainment
In true Spring Break fashion, there is endless action and entertainment each night at camp.  We have different private parties and events each night for our campers, guest pros, staff, and friends.  From Live Bands and DJ's, to Mechanical Bull riding, bowling and all night debauchery at the clubs, there is never a dull moment.  In addition, Southlake offers 6 casinos less than 1 minute from camp where partiers from all over gather for Las Vegas style nightlife.

Free Product
Every night during our parties we give out several thousand dollars worth of shred product from our sponsors. Sometimes we raffle off snowboards, other times you compete to win them by riding a mechanical bull. Either way, it is not uncommon for campers to go home with product worth more than the amount they paid to come to camp.
